The Beginning
Twinkles and Tiaras was formed when planning my own perfect day back in October 2007. I was very specific about what I wanted and made so many of the decorations and finishing touches myself.
I remember being astonished at the cost of tiaras, jewellery and bridesmaid headbands, so set out to make them myself.
I should probably add that I've always been creative so this was an easy task for me and something I really enjoyed!
When friends and family started to book their own weddings I found myself making more and more items. I was also expecting my wonderful daughter at the time and wanted to be able to work from home so I bought crystals, tools, and supplies, made lots of different designs and registered my business.

I loved the creativity that came with bespoke accessories, however with Swarovski crystals and other elements becoming really expensive it was really difficult to stay competitively priced. I really loved working with brides though and being a part of their special day so I decided to move into something else within the wedding industry - decor!
I can't tell you how much I love it (and I think my couples know it too). The planning, the ideas, the creativity, and the finished room - just wow!
Every wedding is different so I'm always planning something new, searching for ideas, and getting excited for another couples big day.
